Product Description
■Sprocket/chain transmission is suitable for transmission with a large center distance, and it has the characteristics of lightweight and low cost. Because the chain has good elasticity, and each hinge of the chain can store lubricating oil, the sprocket has better buffering and vibration absorption capabilities compared with the rigid contact gear teeth;
■The sprockets are divided into driving sprockets, driven sprockets and sprocket idlers, which transmit power to the driving wheel through the chain.
■Sprocket/chain transmission is widely used in mechanical transmission of chemical industry, textile machinery, escalators, wood processing, multi-story parking garages, agricultural machinery, food processing, instrumentation, petroleum and other industries.
Product Features
Feature 1: It can transmit motion and power when the center distance between the two axes is far;
Feature 2: Can work in harsh environments such as low speed, heavy load, high temperature and dust;
Feature 3: Compared with belt drive, there is no elastic sliding and the accurate average transmission ratio can be maintained;
Feature 4: Can transmit greater power;
Feature 5: High transmission efficiency, generally up to 0.95~0.97;
Feature 6: The chain does not require much tension, and the load on the shaft and bearings is very small:
How to Use
● Reference standard: GB/T 1243 (ISO 606)
● Sprocket/chain drive, which includes two series: one derived from ANSI standards (marked with suffix A), and the other derived from Europe (marked with suffix B);
● Only sprockets and chains of the same specifications can be used in combination;
This series is ISO standard 04C/06C/08A/10A/12A/16A chain.
● Using sprockets and chains of different specifications together may cause the sprocket and chain machinery to not operate normally;
Do not use with 04B/05B/06B/08B/10B/12B/16B series sprockets and chains, as this may cause the chain and sprocket mechanism to not operate properly!
Cautions
1. The sprocket chain has poor transmission stability, and there will be impact and noise during operation:
2. Sprocket chains are not suitable for high-speed occasions or occasions where the direction of rotation changes frequently.
3. Precautions for assembling sprocket chain:
3.1 The fit between the sprocket and the shaft must meet the design requirements.
3.2 The geometric center planes of the teeth of the driving sprocket and the driven sprocket should coincide, and the offset should not exceed the design requirements. If not specified in the design, it should generally be less than or equal to 0.2% of the center distance between the two wheels.
3.3 When the chain engages with the sprocket, the working edge must be tightened and the engagement must be smooth.
3.4 The sag of the non-working side of the chain should meet the design requirements. If not specified in the design, it should be adjusted to 1% to 2% of the center distance between the two sprockets.
4. Precautions for maintenance of sprocket:
4.1 The tightness of the sprocket should be appropriate: the tightness of the sprocket is: when lifting or pressing down from the middle of the sprocket, the center distance between the two sprockets is about 2%-3%;
4.2 The sprocket should be installed on the shaft without swinging or skewing;
4.3 If the sprocket/chain transmission is severely worn, it is advisable to replace the sprocket and chain at the same time to ensure good meshing.
4.4 If the new sprocket is too long or stretches after use and is difficult to adjust, the chain links may be removed depending on the situation, but the number must be an even number.
4.5 The sprocket/chain should be lubricated in time to improve working conditions and reduce wear;
4.6 New and old sprockets cannot be used together. If necessary, they should be replaced in matching pairs. Otherwise, impact will easily occur during transmission. Mixing new and old sprockets will increase wear.
4.7 When the machine is idle for a long time, the sprocket should be removed, cleaned with kerosene or diesel, then coated with engine oil or butter and stored in a dry place.
