1. Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, and loosen the motor assembly bolts. Move the motor so that the belt is loose enough to remove it without prying it open. Never pry the belt off.

2. Remove the old belt and check for abnormal wear, which may mean a problem in the design or maintenance of the transmission.

3. Choose a suitable belt replacement.

4. To clean the belt and pulley, wipe them with a rag dipped in a small amount of non-volatile liquid. The belt must be kept dry before installation and use.

5. Check the pulley for abnormal wear or cracks. If the wear is excessive, the pulley must be replaced.

6. Check whether the pulleys are in straight line and symmetry. The straight line and symmetry of the pulleys are crucial to the operation of the transmission belt, especially the synchronous belt transmission device.

7. Check the remaining transmission components, such as the symmetry, durability and lubrication of bearings and sleeves.

8. Install the new belt on the pulley without prying or using excessive force.

9. Adjust the center distance of the transmission device until the tension measuring instrument measures the belt tension to be appropriate. Turn the driving wheel several times by hand and re-measure the tension.

10. Tighten the motor mounting bolts to correct torque, making sure all transmission components are tightened.

11. Start the device and observe the belt performance, check for abnormal vibration, and listen carefully for abnormal noise.
