1. Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, and loosen the assembly bolts of the motor. Move the motor so that there is enough slack in the belt that you can remove the belt without prying. Never pry the belt off.

2. Remove the old belt and check if there is any abnormal wear, which may mean there is a problem with the design or maintenance of the transmission device.

3. Choose a suitable belt replacement.

4. To clean the belt and pulley, wipe it with a rag dipped in a little non-volatile liquid. The belt must be kept dry before installation and use.

5. Check the pulley for abnormal wear or cracks. If the wear is excessive, the pulley must be replaced.

6. Check whether the pulleys are in straight line and symmetry. The straight line and symmetry of the pulleys are crucial to the operation of the transmission belt, especially the synchronous belt transmission device.

7. Check the remaining transmission components, such as the symmetry, durability and lubrication of bearings and sleeves.

8. Install the new belt on the pulley without prying or using excessive force.

9. Adjust the center distance of the transmission device until the tension measuring instrument measures the belt tension to be appropriate. Turn the driving wheel several times by hand and re-measure the tension.

10. Tighten the motor mounting bolts to correct torque, making sure all transmission components are tightened.

11. Start the device and observe the belt performance, check for abnormal vibration, and listen carefully for abnormal noise.
