Product Description

Ball screw is an ideal product for converting rotary motion into linear motion or converting linear motion into rotary motion.

Product Features

Feature 1: High transmission efficiency. The ball screw operates by rolling the steel ball in the nut. It has higher efficiency than the sliding screw and requires less than 1/3 of the torque. Therefore, it can easily convert rotary motion into linear motion. The transmission efficiency can reach 85%-98%.

Feature 2: High positioning accuracy, can achieve gapless transmission, strong rigidity, small temperature rise. Suitable for most automation equipment and machinery, meeting the requirements of most customers.

Cautions

■Notes on selection and use

●The noise level after screw assembly is not guaranteed

●Although lithium soap-based grease has been applied at the factory, please inject new grease every 2 to 3 months after receiving the goods, otherwise it will affect the use.

●During operation, if there is excessive noise or sharp and piercing sound, please be sure to first confirm the installation accuracy of the screw and whether the specifications of peripheral components such as the motor and coupling are appropriate.

●Do not allow the nut to exceed the range of motion of the ball screw nut or unscrew the screw shaft, otherwise the balls may fall off and the ball circulation parts may be damaged.

●If the ball screw and nut are placed at an angle, they may fall due to their own weight, so be careful.

●This product is machined, so there will be knife marks and color differences on the appearance. If the product has a few scratches or color changes, it is normal as long as it does not affect the use and main functions. Please feel free to use it.

■Precautions for designing and assembling ball screws and peripheral parts

The ball screw is a component that only bears axial loads. If it is subjected to radial loads or moment loads, it may cause poor sliding, vibration, and abnormal noise, thereby shortening its service life.

The reason why the ball screw is subjected to radial load and moment load is the axial deviation and parallelism error of the surrounding parts. Therefore, in order to prevent errors, the peripheral parts of the ball screw must be designed and assembled correctly.

●Axis deviation between ball screw and support assembly (Figure 1)

-The so-called axial deviation refers to the axial deviation between the axis of the ball screw fixed by the fixed side support assembly and the axis of the supporting side support assembly bearing.

-The allowable value of axis deviation is less than 20μ (reference value)

●Parallelism between ball screw and linear guide (Figure 2)

-Parallelism error refers to the vertical or horizontal tilt of the ball screw relative to the reference such as the linear guide.

- The allowable value of tilt is less than 1/2000 (Figure 3)

●Precautions during assembly

If you find that the ball screw makes abnormal noises or gets stuck when moving after assembly, loosen the connections of the components and make adjustments, then reassemble after it moves smoothly.

- Error of the support assembly in the left and right direction (Figure 1)

-Parallel error between linear guide and ball screw (Figure 2)

-Fix the workbench and nut bracket

-Fix the ball screw nut and nut bracket
