1、Before installing the V-belt, the center distance between the two pulleys should be reduced.

2、Re-confirm that the axes of the two pulleys are parallel to each other, the symmetrical planes of the two pulley grooves should coincide, and their deviation error should be less than 20′, otherwise, the belt is prone to bias wear, which affects the transmission capacity and reduces the service life of the belt.

3、To ensure that the V belt installed in the wheel groove in the correct position, the top surface of the V belt and the wheel groove surface of the outer edge of the flush or slightly higher, the bottom surface and the bottom of the wheel groove to leave a certain gap to ensure that the belt on both sides of the surface and the wheel groove to ensure good contact with the belt, to increase the working capacity of the belt drive.

4、Then slowly adjust the center distance of the pulley so that the V-belt reaches a suitable degree of tension. If you can press the V-belt down about 15mm with your thumb, the tension is suitable.
